The 21st International Course on Engineering Surveying takes plact at Graz University of Technology from 10 to 13 February, 2026.

The series of conferences on Engineering Surveying dates back to the Optical Distance Measurement Course of 1928. Since 1970, the conference has been organized by the Technical Universities of Munich, Zürich and Graz in a four-year cycle as “International Course on Engineering Surveying”. In order to take into account the rapid development of methods and instruments the course is now usually organized in a shortened rhythm of 3 years since the conference in Zürich in 2004.

The event series, and also the conferece, aims particularly at promoting the exchange between practice and science. Accordingly, a diverse program with practice-oriented and scientific contributions will be provided. The course is organized such that it is acknowledged as continuing education of licensed surveyors by the corresponding bodies in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.
